About the owner:

Absolute Flooring Solutions is a locally owned business headed up by
Mike Walko since 2003

I am a 1989 Rockdale High School graduate and a US Marine and Gulf
War Veteran, serving my beloved Corps honorably from 1990-1994.)

After acquiring Quality Carpet Cleaning from Joe Cox in 2003, we saw
a steady increase in the cleaning and restoration business locally. In
order to become a more well rounded company, we decided to enter into
the flooring installation business by purchasing local company Ballard
Carpets Etc. in 2007. Those two businesses combined became Absolute
Flooring Solutions in 2009.

I have proudly served on the following boards/committees as a way of
giving back to a community that has been so very good to me:

Rockdale chamber of commerce – Chairman, 2013
Rockdale Housing Authority – Chairman, 2010- 2016

Rockdale Masonic Lodge # 414 – Current Officer/State Officer
Rockdale Fair Association – Board member, 2011-2013

Absolute Flooring Solutions takes technical training for its employees
very serious. For this reason, I can assure you that you will receive only
highly trained individuals in your home or office to perform the
Installation/Cleaning/Restoration functions you have requested
